Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy. This policy explains what unfork.ai collects, how we use and protect it, and the rights you can exercise.

1. Information We Collect

  • Website browsing data: page access logs (IP address, User-Agent, timestamp, requested page), processed by Cloudflare as hosting platform under its privacy policy, for security and traffic analysis.
  • API call data: decision request content you submit to the public endpoint (text, task, candidates) and the returned results (decision, probabilities, calibrated_confidence), used to provide the service, prevent abuse, and improve quality.
  • Local storage: language preference (EN/中文) is stored in your browser's localStorage, effective only on your device, never uploaded.
  • Contact information: content you proactively send via email (e.g., partnership inquiries), used solely to reply and communicate.

2. How We Use Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service and the decision model;
  • To prevent abuse, rate-limit violations, and security attacks, and keep the service stable;
  • To aggregate and anonymize usage statistics for public evaluation and model improvement;
  • To comply with legal obligations or lawful requests from authorities following due process.

3. No Sale, No Sharing

We do not sell your personal information or share it with third parties for advertising purposes. Except for the uses described in Section 2 and legal requirements, we do not disclose your data to any third party.

4. Data Retention

  • Access logs are retained per the hosting platform's default schedule (raw logs usually no more than 30 days);
  • API call content is kept only for the minimum time needed for aggregate statistics or abuse auditing; original text is not stored long-term;
  • In private deployment, all data stays on your own servers and is inaccessible to us.

5. Data Security

The entire site is served over HTTPS and hosted on Cloudflare's global network with DDoS protection and access controls. We follow industry-standard security practices, but no system is perfectly secure — please do not submit highly sensitive personal information through the public endpoint.

6. Your Rights

Depending on applicable data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, and local laws), you may have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, and data portability. To exercise them or withdraw consent, contact hello@unfork.ai; we will respond within a reasonable period.

7. Cookies & Tracking

This site uses no advertising cookies or third-party ad trackers. Language preference is stored via localStorage and can be cleared anytime in your browser settings.

8. Changes to Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date, with reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
